Great Northern ORIENTAL Plate ~ 1947 OPCO

For your consideration is a beautiful piece of railroad china. The pattern is called Oriental (GN-9) and was used by the Great Northern Railway. This exclusive use pattern was used on the Oriental Limited.

Made by Syracuse China, this platter has the Old Ivory backstamp dated 1947 and features the gorgeous multicolored design. There are moderate to heavy utensil marks in the well and of course, no chips, cracks or hairlines in this fine example of this railroad pattern. The plate measures 7 1/8 inches and is just drop dead gorgeous.
