Milwaukee PEACOCK Demitasse Set ~ Syracuse

For your consideration is a demi set in the Peacock (Milw-7) pattern used on the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific Railway. Made by Syracuse China, the saucer is date coded 1953. The cup is unmarked.

The demi cup stands 2 1/2 inches tall and is as near to mint as can be. The 4 1/2 inch saucer, although unchipped, has a tight hairline at the 1 o'clock position, which can be seen in the picture. It also shows little use.

This exclusive use pattern was used until 1969 and was never backstamped with the railroad name.

Add a great early piece of railroad history to your railroad china collection today. Thanks for looking.
