CAPITAL CITY CLUB / Atlanta / Sauce Boat

$25.00

This dandy sauce boat is from Atlanta's famous Capital City Club, which was established in 1883.  The City Club is in Atlanta, the Country Club is in Buckhead and the Golf Club is in Cherokee and Fulton counties.

The sauce boat measures approx. 7 inches long and 3 1/2 inches tall at the handle.  Marked on the side is the club's logo of an eagle atop a tri-colored shield with CCC inside and a banner below reading Carpe Diem.  Green and black accent bands complete the piece.  No maker's mark on this pristine, almost unused, piece but it was made by Syracuse China.

Great piece of Atlanta, Georgia history!
