This plate is from the Capital City Club of Atlanta. It was founded in 1883 and continues to operate to this day with The City Club in Atlanta, The Country Club in Buckhead and the Golf Club in Cherokee and Fulton counties.

Syracuse China manufactured this 7 1/4 inch plate in 1946. It features the clubs crest consisting of an eagle, a rust, blue and white shield, with the CCC monogram, and Carpe Diem in a ribbon below. Rust and blue stripes encircle the rim.

No chips, cracks or hairlines but there is some age discoloration around the rim. Still displays well! Moderate utensil use.
