COMMERCE Club of ATLANTA Platter ~ Shenango 1961

Up for auction is an oval platter made for The Commerce Club of Atlanta. Located at 34 Broad Street NW, the club was established in 1960 for business and professional men and women who share a common interest in the healthy development of both Atlanta and Georgia.

Shenango China manufactured this platter in 1961, dating from the earliest days of the club. It features a wide dark green band with the intertwined CC and map logo in gold with 2 accent bands of gold. The platter is in excellent condition, showing just a bit of wear to the gold band and just a few utensil marks. No chips, cracks or hairlines. It measures 7 by 4 3/4 inches.
