The Leamington Hotel was built in 1912 in Minneapolis, MN and operated through 1990. It was demolished shortly thereafter. Many politicans and entertainers stayed at the hotel, with JFK even bringing his own mattress.
Walker China manufactured this plate in 1954. It features the Leamington logo of a round emblem with L inside and cupids on either side in green and brown. Ornaments accent the rest of the border with blue stripes. The 5 1/2 inch plate is excellent condition with just a slight glaze imperfection, perfect to add to your Minneapolis hotel collection.
