US Army MEDICAL Dept. Oval BAKER ~ Sterling China

Here is an oval baker in a pattern used by the US Army Medical Department at hospitals around the country.

The vintage bowl measures 5 3/4 by 4 1/2 inches across.  It's in very good condition, with minimal utensil marks.  One dark dot in the well, under the glaze.  Please see pix. The maroon caduceus is crisp and clear. Worthy of any collection. Sterling China manufactured this piece from 1930s-1950s, according to the backstamp.
