DISNEYLAND Carnation Ice Cream Parlor Plate, Russel Wright

Russel Wright designed this gorgeous pink airbrushed carnation pattern for the Carnation Ice Cream Parlor at Disneyland. The parlor opened in 1955 and served thousands of happy customers until the mid-1990s.

Sterling China manufactured this 9 inch dinner plate. Impressed on the back is Sterling China by Russel Wright. The front, of course, features a pair of pink airbrushed carnations with green leaves. No chips or cracks, and just a few utensil marks. All around excellent condition.

Great piece for any Disney or Wright collector.
