BROTHERHOOD of the SEA Union Plate ~ 1967

This plate is from Brotherhood of the Sea, a union for seafarers which began in 1938 and is connected to the AFL-CIO.

The 9 3/4 inch white plate features a ship's wheel with Brotherhood of the Sea inside encircling a globe with SIU (Seafarers' International Union) and AFL-CIO below, all in light blue. A rope border surrounds the rim.

Jackson China manufactured this plate in 1967. No chips or cracks. Light utensil use in the well.

Great piece for any sailor or union man.
