Green Striped Flip Top Bowl ~ Jackson China

Heavy restaurant-style flip top sugar bowl.  Jackson China manufactured this piece for Measuring Device Corp. of New York.  White with green stripes, 3 inches tall, approx. 4 1/2 inches in diameter.  Base is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.  The MEDCO Ever-Close chrome top shows wear from use over the years, mainly at the knob, but that's to be expected as these pieces were made for diners and restaurants and other heavy use places.  The hinge is ever so slighly sprung; it doesn't close completely, but it's still tight.  Lots of life left in this one!
