This dainty demitasse spoon is from the Hotel Westward Ho in Phoeniz, Arizona. When the hotel opened in 1928, it was the tallest building in the area. Movie stars, like Elizabeth Taylor and Paul Newman, stayed there as did presidents and other dignitaries. Movies were also filmed there.
In 1981 it escaped demolition and became senior housing. It was recently completely remodeled.
The 4 1/2 inch silverplate spoon features the name on the back of the handle. International Silver Company was the manufacturer.
Very good condition with a tiny speck of silverplate missing in the bowl. Freshly polished and ready for your collection.
