For your consideration is a fork from Mammy's Shanty, a long time Atlanta restaurant which was located on 1480 Peachtree Street from approx. 1930s to the late 1960s. It was famous for its pecan pie. Inside the restaurant was Pappy's Plantation Lounge and the Pickaninny Coffee Shop was next to the main building.

The fork features the image of Mammy on the front and reading Mammy's Shanty on the back. Made by Victor Silverplate Co.,, the fork measures 5 3/5 inches long. It's in excellent condition, freshly polished and ready to display.
