B&O CENTENARY Plate ~ SHIELD Backstamp!

$100.00

Here is one of the most beautiful patterns of railroad china ever made. This dinner plate in the Centenary (B&O-4) pattern is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or hairlines and just minimal utensil marks. Made by Scammell's Lamberton, Design Patented, this pattern was introduced for the Centenary of the B&O Railroad in 1927.  This version has the full shield backstamp.

The dinner plate measures just over 10 1/2 inches in diameter and features Harper's Ferry, W. VA. in the well. The cobalt blue transfer pattern is beautiful. The color is vivid and bright. The glaze is unbelievably shiny!

Any collector of railroad china would be delighted to add this plate to his collection. Thanks for looking and please see both pictures as well as the matching cup and saucer also available.
Three available so don't miss out!
