DFK Cup & Saucer East Germany ~ Schonwald

This cup features a gold star with DFK within which, I believe, is Deutsches Fisch Kombinat of East Germany.  This line was founded in 1950 and operated almost 200 ocean-going fishing ships.
The cup is marked with the gold diamond D F K and matching gold stripe on a white body.  The saucer is plain white with the gold stripe.

The saucer measures approx. 6 1/2 inches in diameter. The cup stands 2 1/2 inches tall.  Both pieces were manufactured by Schonwald.
 Both pieces are in excellent, almost unused, condition.  It's well worth adding to your steamship collection.
