Here is a great find! This silver plate soup spoon was used on the Clyde Steampship Lines, which ran along the East Coast and into Florida through the St. Johns River. The company was in business from 1844 until around 1932 and was headquartered first in Philadelphia and later in New York.

The silver plated spoon measures 7 1/8 inches in length. It is marked on the handle CLYDE S. S. CO. No maker's mark. The spoon shows a lot of wear but it has been polished and is ready to display.

Hard steamship line to find so don't miss out!
