Hotel DUPONT Ashtray ~ Wilmington, DE ~ Hall China

This ashtray was made for Hotel duPont by Hall China. Located in Wilmington, DE, it opened in 1913 and is a landmark to this day. Distinguished visitors over the years included President John F. Kennedy, Charles Lindbergh, Eleanor Roosevelt, to name a few.

The blue ashtray features the name of the hotel and shield in gold in the well with a matching gold band around the rim. It measures 4 1/2 inches and is in excellent condition. No chips, cracks or hairlines and just moderate wear to the gold.
