Here is a plate in a pattern used by the US Army Medical Department at hospitals around the country.
The vintage grill plate measures 10 1/4 inches across. Mayer China manufactured this piece circa 1930s-early 1940s, pre-WWII. It's in very good condition, with light utensil marks, and no chips, cracks or hairlines. The maroon caduceus is crisp and clear. Worthy of any collection. Slight dimple in well.
