Handpainted Compartment Plate ~ 1951!

This handsome compartment or grill plate has what appears to be a handpainted design. The maroon rim treatment is quite striking on the tan base of the 9 1/2 inch plate.

This grill plate features a circular section in the middle with 4 separate compartments surrounding it. It's an unusual restaurant plate not often found. The plate is in excellent condition, showing few signs of use.

Albert Pick supplied the plate and the date code H suggests manufacture by Sterling in 1951.
