For your consideration is a bread plate in the Rio pattern which was used by the Moore-McCormack Lines. Made by Sterling China, this pattern dates to the 1950s.
The 5 1/2 inch plate features the distinctive bleeding heart with the airbrushed gray mountains and cross design behind it. The plate is in excellent, almost unused, condition, and no chips, cracks or hairlines.
