This is my favorite TEPCO pattern! Called Confucius, it consists of an airbrushed Oriental scene with bridges, buildings and trees. Some of the larger pieces also feature a pagoda. Even the colors are striking - gray, aqua and dark red.
The backstamp on both cup and saucer is the 1931-1968 stamp. It is not known how many years the pattern was actually produced.
The cup stands just over 2 1/2 inches tall. The saucer is 5 3/4 inches in diameter. No chips, cracks or hairlines. Moderate use showing on both pieces. It's a nice heavy-duty restaurant ware set.
Don't miss out!
