RIVER OAKS Country Club Dinner Plate ~ Houston, TX

This dinner plate was used at River Oaks Country Club near Houston, TX. This country club has hosted the River Oaks International Tennis Tournament since 1931 with such players as Bjorn Borg and Rod Laver.

The plate features their elaborate shield with ROCC in a light turquoise with a matching band around the well.

Homer Laughlin manufactured this plate in 1975. The plate measures just under 10 inches and is in unused condition with just a few stacking marks.
