This fun piece was used at restaurants, hotels and railroads around the country. McKee manufactured this piece and called it Hottle, for it was a bottle to hold hot water or coffee at the table.
The clear glass Hottle stands approx. 5 1/2 inches tall with yellow plastic encircled around the throat so as not to burn oneself when lifting it to pour. Impressed on the bottom is McKee 1 Hottle Glasbake Pat. The pressed paper lid also reads Hottle with the shape of the bottle behind it. These marked lids aren't often found! Excellent condition all around.
Great piece to use on a breakfast tray or just to enjoy.
