This is a very cool flip top sugar bowl! The bold coloration of forest green stripes and white make for such an attractive piece. It just screams diner and is one of my favorite patterns.
The distributor was MEASURING DEVICE CORP. of New York City and the manufacturer was Jackson China, as is marked on the bottom. The stainless steel lid is unmarked.
The bowl stands 3 inches tall and 4 5/8 inches in diameter. The bowl is in excellent condition while the lid shows some moderate wear. The hinge is good.
