Hotel WASHINGTON Platter ~ Maddock

This platter was manufactured by Maddock Pottery circa 1900-1901, according to the backstamp.

There were so many different Hotel Washingtons that I've been unable to track down which one used this pattern.

Marked on the top is Hotel Washington with a shield in red, yellow and black. Black, green and red stripes outline the rim. The platter measures approx. 10 1/2 by 6 1/2 inches. No chips, cracks or hairlines and just moderate utensil use and some age spotting.  Not bad for over 100 years old!

Thanks for looking!
