Here's a plate made for Brunswick Hospital Center in Amityville, Long Island, New York. This hospital was recently sold and is undergoing a name change.
Mayer China made this plate in 1982. The forest green insignia of the hospital is accented with a matching band around the rim. The 5 1/2 inch plate has crazing on the top side, undoubtedly a manufacturer defect. Otherwise, the plate is in pristine unused condition.
This hospital plate would make a nice addition to any collection of restaurant ware. Thanks for looking and please see all 3 pictures.
