This nice piece of restaurant ware was made by Schonwald. The tray measures 12 3/4 by 7 inches and is about 1/2 inch deep. Great size to use as a dresser tray or on your desk.
The tabbed handles are decorated with a cobalt blue stripe accented with gold overglaze. The shield, also in gold overglaze, features a tam o'shanter above a shield with a cross and stripes. Possibly military or fraternal logo. Almost unused condition. It's a substantial heavy piece.
