Platter 1924 ~ ORDER OF EASTERN STAR!

$10.00

Here is a piece of vintage restaurant china made for the Order of Eastern Star, No. 23. The large oval platter features the Eastern Star logo in gold and accented with a gold rim.

Made by OPCO Syracuse China, this oval platter was made in 1924 with an additional backstamp from the distributor, L. Barth & Son, of Aug. 1924! It's an oldie! I found an Eastern Star No. 23 in Baton Rouge, LA but was unable to verify if this is from their chapter.

The platter measures about 12 1/2 by 8 1/2 inches. It weighs over 2 pounds. It's in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. There is moderate utensil use in the well and minor wear to the gold.

If you collect fraternal china, don't miss this platter as well as the matching bowl I have one. Serving pieces are hard to find! Thanks for looking and please see all 3 pictures.

Just 2 of these platters available.
