This beautiful dinner plate is from Kalurah Country Club in Johnson City/Binghamton, NY. The club started life as a private residence for an Endicott Johnson executive, was later owned by IBM and is now known as Glen Resort.

Syracuse China manufactured this plate in 1925. It features the Palm Beach border used by Seaboard Airline Railway as well as the Masonic Shriner's symbol with Kalurah CC below. The Kalurah Shrine was founded in 1898.

The plate measures 9 3/4 inches with no chips, cracks or hairlines. It has moderate utensil use in the well.

Excellent piece of New York and Shriner's history. Thanks for looking and please see all 4 pictures of this unique plate.
