BICKFORD'S Cup & Saucer ~ Vintage Sterling China

$20.00

Bickford's was founded in 1922 by Samuel Bickford. The chain eventually included Longley's Cafeteria, Foster's, Hayes-Bickford and more. The restaurants consisted of cafeterias, coffee shops, drive-ins and more.

Sterling China produced this set for Bickford's with the cup dated 1970 and the saucer, 1969. The set features the Bickford's logo boxed in maroon on both pieces. The saucer's topmark is slightly paler near the bottom, which can be seen in the picture. The saucer measures 5 1/2 inches across and the cup stands 3 inches tall. Both pieces are in excellent, almost unused, condition, with no chips, cracks or hairlines.

Don't miss this nice Bickford's set. It will fit in with any vintage restaurant or diner collection. Thanks for looking and please see all pictures.
