IHOP Oatmeal Bowl ~ Unused!

$8.00

Here is a restaurant ware oatmeal bowl from IHOP. Information from its website tells us that IHOP Corp. traces its roots back to the opening of the first International House of Pancakes restaurant in 1958 in a suburb of Los Angeles, Toluca Lake, California. The American eating public quickly took to the concept of a restaurant based on one of America's favorite foods - pancakes. Up until 1983, the restaurants were housed in familiar A-frame buildings but have since gone to more traditional buildings.

The bowl measures 5 inches across, stands almost 2 inches high and features the well known logo on the side in dark blue and accented with salmon and blue bands. Homer Laughlin produced this bowl sometime between 1988-1995 according to the raised HLC USA backmark. Although each bowl in unused condition, with no chips, cracks or hairlines, they're seconds and each bowl has a tiny imprerfection, either a skipped pinline or smudge. Regardless, great bowls to use everyday.
