Here is a coffee cup or mug featuring the White Tower logo. This hamburger chain was founded in Wisconsin in 1926. It was the most successful of the White Castle imitators.
The Sterling China backstamp dates this mug to 1958. The cup, which weighs over 1 pound, stands 3 inches tall and is in very good condition. There is a small firing separation inside the cup, done during the manufacturing. I missed it when shooting the pix. Shows little wear. A few black specks on the lip, under the glaze. The logo is crisp and clear. A nice vintage burger joint piece.
