Here is one of the prettiest service plates I've seen in a long time. Made by Jackson China, the piece was manufactured in 1957. The cobalt blue insignia in the well is accented with a matching cobalt band around the rim. The Bob Jones crest is in gold on the rim of the plate and gold also accents the cobalt band. The plate measures 10 1/4 inches. It is in perfect unused condition, showing just a few scuffs here and there.
Bob Jones University is located in Greenville, SC and is a liberal arts, non-denominational Christian college.
If you are an alumni or know one, don't pass this service plate by. It will make a great conversation piece. Thanks for looking and please see all 3 pictures.
