Southern Electrical Co., San Diego, CA Plate ~ 1951 Syracuse

This 9 inch plate is from Southern Electrical Company, San Diego, which began broadcasting a commercial radio staion KDPT in 1922 in conjuction with Union-Tribune Publishing Company.

Syracuse China manufactured this plate in 1951. The topmark consists of intertwined initials SECO with lightning bolts surrounding it and In The Heart Of The South written below in a teal blue. No chips, cracks or hairlines. Moderate to heavy utensil use in the well.
